Sevya's Ayurvedic Organic Cotton Scarves

Our new collection of organic cotton scarves dyed with medicinal Ayurvedic herbs are hand-woven by members of a weaving cooperative in South India. These scarves are not only beautiful and soft, but they also provide health benefits when you wear them.

The Ayurvedic herbal formulas that are used to dye the organic cotton yarn are prepared by Ayurvedic physicians whose families have been practicing this art for many centuries. The herbs are collected and cultivated in the local forests, and blended in formulas that are specifically designed for treating many of today's common ailments, including stress, hypertension, arthritis, and depression.

These are some of the main herbs that are used in dyeing the organic cotton yarn. These herbs are combined with other medicinal herbs and blended both for their medicinal effect as well as their beautiful color.
