Our Tara Tunic is hand embroidered by women artisans in Northern India in the shadow-work style known as “Chikankari”. Chikankari is a delicate and artfully done hand embroidery technique that women in this region have been doing for generations. The embroidery motifs are first block-printed onto the garment and then the women do the embroidery in their homes, which allows them to do the work on their own schedule between other household work.

Our soft embroidered cotton tunic tops feature fine embroidery on the front and back and are designed for a comfortable, elegant fit.

Available in two sizes, S/M and L/XL.
